Has anybody experienced any problem in changing the cluster node name on Windows 2008 R2 machine from XXX to YYY after installing SQL Server 2005 SP3 on clustered environment?
I have been in discussion with someone and the other person is suggesting that there shouldn't be any problem but I don't agree. What i have read/discussed in past (sorry don't recall when and where) that there is potential of SQL Server not working if cluster or cluster node names are changed but I am not finding any reference to it.
It seems i have to dig out internet little bit more. if you guys can point me to some thing helpful, that will be appreciated.
