    That's a nice collection of VLFs you have there! I recommend you find and read Kimberly Tripps blog post on optimizing transaction logs.

    That can actually be found in my sig.

    Yeah, it looks like during the time that we had the issues with the growth it decided to add itself a bunch of new virtual log files. It looks like step 8 is what I need to do in Kimberly's article, but for now I'm not touching this on a holiday weekend. 😎 That can wait until early next week. Thanks again to all for the great information.
