Save Username and Password fails

    Hi,

    I am pretty new to SQL BI....I am trying to troubleshoot a package created by somebody else....The package gets the data from DB2 and loads the data into SQL Server.....when i am trying to execute the package, it fails and the error message says it is due to the permission issue.....After further investigation i confirmed it is due to OLE DB Source Connection Manager....I tried to change the Username and Password but as soon as i save the package it changes back to the initial Username and Password

    I don't know the exact reason for this...Can anyone help me in this issue???

    Sounds like the connectionstring is stored in package configuration. You will need to change the package configuration not the package itself. Look on the Package Configurations... option from the SSIS menu to find out what package configurations are set-up for that package.
