Since the article was about sending mail, I thought the actual procedure that sends mail should be more than just an attachment.
Just a thought for you...there are a ton of articles up here about creating HTML tables to send out in email. Quite a few different approaches. You may want to check some of those out as well. Some of the articles go way far back - skip those that are over ten years old as a lot of times it was about working around Database Mail's predecessor, SQL Mail, which was horrible at best.
