set up Database backup job for Secondary database

    Hello

    I am new to the SQL Server 2014, We have cluster setup for database server, CLS1 is primary and CLS2 is secondary. We setup CLS2 to always On mode, so all of the database for CLS2 are on SYNCHRONIZED mode. now i need to setup a backup database job, i created Maintenance plan as for older SQL version database, but it fails as it say the database is on SYNCHRONIZED mode.

    do anybody know how to configure this?

    There is a difference between an Alwayson Availability Groups and a alwayson failover cluster. It sounds like you're asking about the former.
