SP4 performance hits

    Has anybody noticed any performance issues with SQL 2000 SP4? I have applied this to a server which was having some issues which I was hoping would be fixed by SP4. They weren't! Anyway having resolved the issues I ran a dbcc checkdb. Normally on a DB of this size (60gb) I would expect it to take approx2-3 hrs. This took over 18 hours to complete! Has anybody noticed any other performance hits in rebuilding indexes etc with SP4 applied?

    The only thing I heard I heard was a problem with AWE. You should wait before installing if you have a server with AWE enabled.

    Thanks,  but we aren't using AWE on any of our servers. The pages referenced do not provide any information releating the issues seen. Maybe its just me.....but I doubt it!

    I have installed SP4s just after the releasing of it. But upto now I don't have any issues.
