  Dear Sir/ madam

  i have to face too many times in sql server connectivity from server A to server B. Found always error no. 17.

  have any permanent solution.

  whether my LAN connectivity are peer to peer.

  Router, Hub and switches are controlled the LAN function.

  Network connectivity shown, data has been transfered from one computer to another means all sharing work is working properly but SQL server connectivity has error.

  kindly help me.....

  If you can ping the server when the error is being returned, then it is likely to be a security/credentials issue.

  Is the error returning when you are just trying to connect to the SQL server, or is it from a scheduled job?

  Check that the account you are connecting with has relevant permissions on both servers.
