SQL Server 2000 Remote Installation :
Hi 2 all
I am facing this problem when ever I try to install the SQL Server to remote computer.
I have installed Advanced Server 2000 on both Machines.
I did try
* Domain Controller to Domain Controller. (Both are PDC)
* Domain Controller to Member Server and Vice Versa
* 1 PDC and Workgroup Environment.
But I am always facing this and only this problem/Error
Error
An error occurred while attempting to validate the setup server UNC path.
Verify you have entered a valid UNC path.
waitin 4 +ive and instant response

It sounds like the setup path you are entering is incorrect. Can you verify the UNC path from explorer?
