SQL Server 2005 SSIS package is running slow compared to SQL Server 2000

    SQL Server 2005 is running with SP3 and OS is windows 2000 terminal.

    We are doing side by side upgrade on a server.The DTS package of SQL Server 2000 is taking less time to execute compared to SSIS package.

    The database compatability is changed,update stats and Indexing on the tables are OK.The data files of 2000 and 2005 are kept on same drive(RAID 5).

    Could you please suggest what might be cauing the problem.

    I've seen this before and started changing out source/destination connection types to find which ones work better. That's not the best answer out here but what I have used when experiencing same.
