    MOC courses aren't books. They're in-person training courses offered by official trainers, often working for the large training providers.

    I wish there was a like button here. Thank you! So it seems I'll have to wait a bit longer for a formal book to come out, but as you said earlier, I can still go with my 461 (etc...) exams and then do the upgrade exam.

    There's no guarantee that books will come out. Depends on the publishers, whether they find authors willing to write to the tight deadlines and low payments that exam study books have (I got asked to write an entire book in 2 months a while back), etc.

    Go through the skills measured on the MS Learning site, put together your own study plan, use Books Online (the SQL documentation) to study. Works well, just requires discipline.
