SQL Server Locking Problem

    I see that in early in the morning locks spiked to high number. Is there anyway to see what spids are holding huge number of locks? what if the spike is already over? is it recorded anywhere?

    You can execute sp_lock.

    well lets say I want to find out distribution per spid of 300,000 locks. i guess this will have to be real time.
