SQL Server Log update period

    Hi - does anyone know how often the Sql Server Log updates - under Management/Sql Server Logs?

    I'm trying to find the part of my code which is causing an overload - by testing each part at a time - however, the log is showing the last entry as being an hour and a half ago - which isn't great when I'm trying to debug!

    Is there any way of speeding the update up?

    Ignore me - I wasn't overloading in the tests enough for them to register in the logs (I'm looking for the 8 concurrent message in MSDE).
