Sql Server stoped Missing Event Log files

  Last night one of my sqlserver instance went down by itself, apparently with no any reason.

  I try to figure out what happened , looking at SQL Server Event Logs

  they are:

  Current - 06/07/2005 11:16 (6450 Byte)

  Archive #1 06/07/2005 8:15 (6887 Byte)

  Archive #2 07/07/2005 07:00 (38,213,242 Byte)

  Archive #5 05/18/2005 18:03 (11082 Byte)

  Archive #6 05/18/2005 08:54 (90799 Byte)

  It seems that Archive #3 and #4 are missing

  Can someone explain me what happened?

  I would check the Event Viewer - System events in the server, to find the cause of the shutdown.
