Hi Experts,
SQL Server is not starting after windows upgrade.
Before upgrade OS: 2008 standard edition
After upgrade OS : 2008 enterprise edition.
SQL edition: 2005 standard edition

When you look into the windows event viewer, what error message are you getting?

Hi,
Please check in , services.msc , for specific SQL server service, add the username and password and start.
It worked for me.

Thanks everyone for the response.
They reinstalled Visual C++ and everything working fine now,i dont know how that happened!!!!
