Sql2005 64bit Enterprise cluster and MSDTC configuration

    Hi,

    I am trying to install SQL 2005 64 bit ent cluster on Windows 2003 64bit OS cluster.As a prerequisite,MSDTC needs to be installed and configured.

    MS recommends to use proccedure listed at:

    http://support.microsoft.com/?id=301600

    It says that this article is applies to the products:

    • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition (32-bit x86)

    • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition (32-bit x86)

    I am not sure for 64 bit Windows 2003 same article is applicable or not? Or is there any different procedure that I need to follow to set up MSDTC in 64 bit clustered Windows 2003 Enterprise servers??

    Any help??

    I followed the same MS article 301600 to configure MSDTC on 64 bit assuming same procedures for 32bit and 64 bit OS and SQL.So far no issues, works fine.
