SSAS Cubes Comparision

    Hi all,

    Im a newbie in SSAS and my task was to compare SSAS 2005 Cubes with SSAS 2008 Cubes, just to make sure we have same information in both as we are Migrating from 2005 to 2008.

    Please provide me details (in brief) as i dont know anything in SSAS.

    You might want to start comparing on database level. You should compare the tables or views that you are using to populate the dimensions and facts first. If you don't find any discrepancies there, you're one big step forward.

    We are using the same databases for both 2005 Cubes & 2008 Cubes and the SSIS Package is also almost same.

    Is there any thing more needed to check for comparing CUBES.
