SSIS 2005 Configuration File Problem

    Hi

    I have a SSIS 2005 Package in which I draw data from a DB2 Database on an AS400 server.

    I have the package configured with an indirect XML configuration file using an environmental variable.

    But for some or other reason, sometimes when I run the package as a job, or even just open up the package in SSIS, it disables my user profile on the AS400 server. Now this only happens every now and then, and generally the profile should only be disabled after 3 invalid logins.

    Is the password not being picked up from the config file when package validation is done or what?

    This only happens every now and then.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What do the logs on the AS400 say?

    Stating the obvious but I take it if you open the config file you can see the password set within?

    EDIT: And under the job step properties it is pointing correctly to the configuration file?
