SSIS Package OLE DB Connection

    Hello All

    What ever happened to the simple way of DTS?

    My SSIS package database connection will not hold my password. I have checked the 'Save Password' checkbox.

    What am I missing? It seems that every time that I try and use SSIS there is something like that that is totally weird. I liked DTS much better.

    Password is not saved in the connection dialog but it is saved internally and SSIS can connect to it without any problem.

    Mine is not being saved. That is the problem. What can I look at to help solve this issue.

    Try to change protection level to EncryptAllWithPassword and set password for the package. And next deploy it on production server.
