SSRS 2005 and AD security groups

    Sorry for the duplicate post (found my scroll bar)

    Im having a bit of a mare with Security Groups and SSRS 2005.

    I have the following directory setup within SSRS

    /Finance

    /IT

    /OPs

    /Dev

    I have created 2 groups within AD called SSRS_OPs_Admins and SSRS_OPs_Users (same for the other folders). I have assigned SSRS_OPs_Admins group [Browser, Content Manager, My Reports, Publisher, Report Builder],[Browser] access to HOME and system user access (so that they can use the "Report Builder").

    One of the users in the group SSRS_OPs_Admins also has single user access to /IT.

    When the user in question opens the home page all he can see is the /IT directory and not the /OPs.

    Help needed PLEASE!!

    Do the user access account have explicit denies? If so, depending on what level they are at, they could override the allow from the other group.

    Thanks for the reply. There are no denies, just grants at the moment.

    Im just trying to tidy up an existing SSRS system that a prev DBa left (all single user access).
