Hi Guys,
We are just looking at implementing SSRS2016 with PowerBI on-prem rendering.
One of the scenarios we want to deploy the reports into is an embedded IE browser window which only has access to 1/3 of the screen within it's parent application hence screen real-estate is at a premium. Does anyone know if there is a way to suppress the SSRS portal headers when calling a report using the parameter based URL

Currently when running in high DPI mode the headers take up about 25% of the available space. When users with low resolutions try to run the reports they are going to take up close on 50% which is not good UX

Assuming your not giving the users access to the URL bar, like an iFrame, I would go with accessing the reporting manager URL instead as that doesn't show the banner as its meant for management, but giving a direct link to a report and hiding the URL bar would be an option.

If you want the parameters pane to be hidden too, include rc:parameters=Collapsed in your URL. Building on Anthony's URL:
http://myReportsServer/ReportServer/ReportOne?ValueToFilterBy=123456&rc:parameters=Collapsed
