Strange connectivity errors

    We have an application that gives me error

    "[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionWrite (WrapperWrite())". This started recently, sometime it works fine and sometime I get errors.

    Not sure what's going on, never had this error before. Checked the logs. Nothing siginificant. I see dbcc trace on message at about same time. But that messages appears even when we don't get this errors.

    Can anyone help me?

    Any changes to MDAC recently? Which network protocol TCP/IP or Named Pipe is configured in this machine? Which service pack do you have for SQL Server?

    Can this error message be easily reproduced?

    Not sure how I can monitor MDAC activity.

    -I have 7.00.1063(SP4) on this machine.

    -When I go in ODBC panel in this machine, I see named pipes, TCP/IP and multiprotocol library.
