Strange Merge Agent Parameter

    Has anybody heard of a "-Offload" parameter for a Merge Replication Agent job?

    BOL hasn't, and, unless my Google skills are poor, there's nothing there either!!!

    Nobody will admit to changing the job (that's an entirely separate investigation), so until I've found the culprit, I've no idea what this parameter was intended for.

    Mystery solved.

    Someone was asked to start the agent immediately, rather than via the schedule, and instead of clicking "Start Synchronizing", clicked "Run Agent at Subscriber". This makes a change to the agent job, adding a -Offload parameter.

    Strange there's no reference to it in any documentation, BOL or Google :w00t:
