I have a table that gives me the error above whenever I try to add a new row. Ive managed to find the row thats causing the problem, but I cant delete it! Every time I try I get the error

"String or binary data would be truncated.\rThe statement has been terminated."

its completely screwed up my data, I just need to get rid of the offending row, can anyone tell how I can do that ?

some of your data been inserting has more characters than the column can occupy.

Use try catch block and get the data.

You get that error on a DELETE statement?

Can you post the table definition and the DELETE statement?

Please check to see if a TRIGGER has been applied to the table - it seems likely.
