Wow, not sure you need all the subqueries. Try converting some of those to joins.
like
update researchdaily set spfac1 = b.spfac from researchdaily
join (...) a
inner join researchdaily b
on a.businessdate = b.td
and researchdaily.cusip = b.cusip
