The HTTP request was forbidden with client authentication scheme 'Ntlm'

    Hi All,

    I have SSIS package which has been successfully running for the past few years.

    The package connects to a SharePoint library list, which i can access.

    About a week ago, the job started failing with the below error:

    Description: System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException: The HTTP request was forbidden with client authentication scheme 'Ntlm'. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden. at System.Net.HttpWebReque

    There have been no changes to the package in the past few years.

    Any idea as to what could be causing this issue?

    Hi Robbie,

    Your SSIS package might not have changed, but someone did change your SharePoint authentication scheme and it no longer accepts NTLM (Windows Authentication). I would recommend you talk with your server administrators.
