It would have been nice if you had acknowledged that.
Only committed data is read in the example shown.
There is no guarantee under locking read committed isolation that the committed data read at different times won't have changed.

Thanks Paul for your comment. It's true that only committed data is read, no doubt. My intention was only to underline that the SELECT "got only a subset of the planned updates" by the other transaction inside a single transaction. Only this.
