Third party tool to implement manual standby

    Is there a tool out there that is capable of manually implementing a standby database?(Version--Sql server 2000 standard edition)

    If you goto SAN's the SAN manufacturers will offer seperate solutions for backup, recovery, standby, hardware mirroring, etc.

    Most of the vendors will offer the Backup with pretty fast timings. Because this backup is not from SQL Server. Its from their console software & hardware drives. Pretty amazing actually.
