Timeout Expired problem in SQL Server

    'An exception of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException' occurred and was caught.' When running a stored proc.

    Couldn't solve the problem. What could be the most possible problem.

    Getting like "Invalid buffer, status=208.."

    Is there any more to the message and what environment or prgramming method were you using to execute (QA, ASP, C#.NET)?

    Event Source: Web Service

    We thought it was due to stored proc which is using some table and we rebuild some indexes on that table but it didnot work out .Now again the same problem exists.

    Figured out some thing is using the resources,not sql server. How to find out?
