Transfer Logins task errors out

    Hi,

    I restored a database with a different name, and then tried to transfer logins, and got an error:

    "Can't find databsae "old_name".."

    I need to rename databases frequently during the restore, how can I avoid the error?

    Have you tried using the Export Data option in EM and checked the box for "copy SQL Server logins" on the "default options" button in the wizard?  This should allow you to create your new database from an old one, rename it, and keep your logins at the same time.
