Hi,
I keep getting the error 'Unable to connect to the registry on server (servername), or you are not a member of the OLAP Administrators group on this server'
The latter is not true. I wonder what causes this - the service is started. I got in a couple of times after rebooting windows but in the end I uninstalled everything (Sql Server, Analysis Servises) and reinstalled them and tried to upgrade with SP3 but failed as I explained in my other thread today (SqlServer Service packs)
By the way, After my cube was ready and saved, I could not Browse Data - I got the the same note as Joseph here while trying to view Dimension data 'Unspecified error'.....

I think this is a known problem (with a solution) in SP3, but you may want to get your SQL & AS in order first and then work on this after you get SP3'd.

Yes, sp3 was the solution indeed.
For others, atleast running win XP/SP2, please read the short discussion at Sql Server / Service packs about installing the Sql Server / Analysis services sp3.
