Two Phase Commit to SQL and DB2 via Link Server

    Does anyone have any thoughts on using a link server to participate in a distributed transaction with SQL Server and z/os DB2? Two-Phase (2PC) commit?

    Not sure if this is even feasible.

    I'm doing research on a similar problem right now. The difference is that we want to handle our transactions in VB .NET using system.transactions. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm at my wits end.
