Ugrading SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 Standard to Enterprise

  • Hi,

I have recently upgraded both SQL Server 2005 data and olap engines from standard edition to enterprise edition using command-line, but having problems getting this to work on Reporting Services, which is still reading as Standard Edition. I may be doing something wrong, but since all other bits worked fine, just wanted to ask the communitity if they have any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Phillip Cox

  • The credentials which are used when you view a report depend on the configuration of the datasource. It could be set either dynamically during execution or a fixed username and password could be set for the datasource.

In case you want to use subscriptions you have to use a fixed username/password.

    Hope this answers your question
