We are currently looking to employ a permanant SQL server consultant in Nottingham with the following skills
Preferably MCDBA certified
willingness to train to MCSD or MCSE also required
Experience of the following in SQL server 2000 is essential
Disaster recovery
DTS packages
DBCC statements
Transact-SQL scripting (triggers and stored procedures)
Indexing and optimisation
Replication, Clustering, Log shipping and High availability
SQL server best practice
Excellent customer facing skills
In addition any of the following skills would be useful
HTML
ASP
XML
Crystal Reports + crystal enterprise
SQL analysis services
SQL server reporting services
Cognos impromptu
One development language from - C++,C#, Visual Basic
Experience in .net
Microsoft Access and VBA
Exposure to PSE (northgate rebus) payroll systems
Active Directory or Microsoft Exchange support skills
