Unable to create Publication

    Hello,

    I am having a strange problem. I am unable to create ANY new publication on any of the databases. I try to add it using the SQL Enterprise Manager or Query Analyzer and get the following error for exec sp_addpublication :

    Server: Msg 14294, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_verify_job_identifiers, Line 24

    Supply either @job_id or @job_name to identify the job.

    Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening and how it can be resolved ?

    I've seen this kind of error before. It can be caused by several reasons, but best thing to fix it is remove replication including the distributor role first and then reconfigure replication. In some case (re)applying SP3 helps as well, because SP3 contains most of the stored procedures used to create the replication jobs.
