Unspecified Error :(

    Hi All,

    I have a job that executes a DTS package that migrates the logins from one server to another standby server ( where we are logshipping ), and recently I have started getting this error message from that job :

    DTSStep_OMWCustomTasks.OMWTransferLogins_1   DTSRun OnError:  DTSStep_OMWCustomTasks.OMWTransferLogins_1, Error = -2147467259 (80004005)     

    Error string:  Unspecified error        

    Error source:  Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS)

     

    Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong . If was working fine for atleast a year now.

    did anyone modify the dts-package from his/her client connecting to the server (and not being at the server-console ?

    MDAC can cause some pains in this case because dts stores (client)-objects.
