Hi,
I am SQL DBA\Developer for an application whose SQL database undergoes significant changes during every release of the application. This is due to additional functionality, bespoke work for certain clients, performance tuning. These changes then have to be scripted (me alone!) for implementation team to run at client sites.
Due to the amount of time this takes out of days coming upto release times (pretty much all year round when you include releases to QA) I would like to know if there are any products out there that could help. Ideally I would like to be able to compare the latest version template database, and a previous version database, pick and choose which differences I would like and produce scripts to convert the previous version to the new?
Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.
