Users Automatically Assigned to New Database

    I create a new database via EM in SQL7 running on NT. The database creates with 3 users - dbo, user1 and user2. user1 and user2 are standard Windows logins with no server roles assigned and they are not me (logged in as sa). The server has a large number of users with apparently the same parameters. This has happened four times. How / why can these users be gaining automatic access to any new database created?

    Odds are someone added them to the model db and as model is the template they get added each time a new db is created automatically. Just remove them from model.
