Weird error in an otherwise happy, mature Maintenance Plan - BACKUP LOG cannot be performed because there is no current database backup

    I can recommend Notepad++ -> Find All in Current Document as a very handy tool for looking for needles in verbose log files

    I can recommend Notepad++ -> Find All in Current Document as a very handy tool for looking for needles in verbose log files

    If I'm reading logs on someone else's machine (so don't have my own tools), I usually open the error log files in Management studio. It's a better text editor than notepad (not hard)
