I just thought I'd add a vote FOR the new slow SSMS. As a mainly BI person it is worth the wait to have more or less everything in one place. The new Reporting Services manageability built-in is a big improvement, however there is a big but! But, it would be nice if it had a bit more "drag and drop"-ability in it and that you could copy reports, currently you have to deploy, rename then move or use the upload facility each time.
I have to say I agree with the post about having to open extra windows when managing jobs - this is annoying.
And just to comment on the Query Analyser, it's fine for quick queries, providing SSMS is already running! But it comes nowhere close to the functionality of ApexSQL Edit which is great for developing large SQL scripts, with intellisense on both command structure, field names and table definition tooltips.
