  Hello,

  Mssql 2005/sp2

  There is a file in the following PATH example (data file location) ...

  \\servername\e$\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\*.cer?

  Note: I did not install the SSRS option? Any thoughts as to the purpose?

  i think it has something to do with the service master key which is generated by default on a sql install.
