  • How about knowing how/where to look for a solution?

I am pretty sure you will find an answer to 'What's the meaning of life' on Google Discussions...

  • I can't stop laughing. People are getting upset.

Here we are talking and I see a phrase "btree" then something about how you can't express yourself. I think btree > Tree > Boabab tree > Caos. Must be what he is trying to say...

GRN: Just pored my self a cup of "coffee" 4PM here. 🙂

Do you actually say "häh" in Germany? That's cool, we have exactly the same word here in Finland.

  • Serious though, looking for a solution. Google.

There are plenty people who have had the same problem you have.

This is how I found SQLServerCentral.

A guy started working here who had never heard of google.

He asked was it good. To demo it, I searched on "How do I wipe my @55"

I, yes I was amazed at the results. There was a thread that as about 500 posts long where people were discussing different techniques.

Google is always my first port of call - for IT related stuff that that is.

    Cheers,

    Crispin

  • The ability to quote Monty Python, Douglas Adams, etc at a moment's notice.

The ability to drink and still look as if you are solving a very difficult puzzle.

The ability to curse a machine. More points if you use more than one language.

The ability to have impromptu discussions on technical pieces at a moment's notice.

The ability to know that this will still be here tomorrow.

  • I agree.

What was supposed to be a serious, intellectual post has turned into a humorous topic.

Maybe this is the answer to my questions. All developers think alike.....

"We are the people our parents warned us about."
