  • RE: Union Benefits

There is no doubt that Unions are a factor in many of the conditions the we have today. Antibiotics are helpful when you are sick, but you don't stay on...

"Please, no more! I just can't take it! Octogenarians shouldn't be talking about that kind of thing!"

    Oh, the humanity! :w00t:

  • RE: Do You Verify Your Database Backups?

    James Stover (2/24/2009)

We don't need no DBA 'round here checkin' our backups. We got that fancy Squeal Server that takes care of itself. Now git.

    Isn't that the truth!

    Rich Hansell (12/2/2008)

I am assuming you created the server level logins on the 2005 box. My first guess is that the logins in the DBs are not matching the...

  • RE: Knowledge sharing

Great post, Manie! This is a timely topic and I appreciate it. There will always be shallow people that are quick to expose their ignorance with arrogant attitudes or derogatory...

  • RE: Performance testing and tuning for a beginner

Good Job! Thanks for the input.

  • RE: Absolutely (Not?)

    Grant Fritchey (10/24/2008)

    Backups, absolutely.

And, this one does make people crazy, but I've been insisting on it for over a decade now... a tested script to deploy changes to production. No...

Computers are british, sorry. You lot popularised them but we got there first, ...

You chaps got there first, but while you were waiting for a pat on the back,...

  • RE: Knock, Knock…Who's There?

There's three kinds of people: Those who can count and those who can't!

I was OK, but I'm fine now!

  • RE: Physical Database Architecture

Kinda seems like a Microsoft test question.
