Some of my systems running on MSSQL now are using databases migrated from Informix on SCO Unix, with only some subtle schema changes (due to the size of the database)....

With SQL Server I'm definitely a 'print'-er. Obviously if writing SQLs in an IDE for .NET then can do quite a bit of debugging in there too.
