Mght be a security problem. Whatever SQL user the report is using to run then query needs to exist and have permissions on the table on the source server.

hmmm rather than the number of days.., why not set the Interval between days to be variable that way the number of points on your x axis remains the same...

Dev edition = Ent edition in terms of functionality but you aren't licensed to use Dev edition in a production environment.
