So the TSQL now looks like this...

Are these physical or virtual SQL servers? If they are virtual could you not just take a snapshot of the entire server?

Might be helpful if you provide further information... Why can't you uninstall? Do you get any error messages? OS Version etc, etc.

We have our entire SQL Farm running VMware ESX and shortly to be VSphere and have never had any major issues.
Mixture of SQL 2000 through to SQL 2008R2, around 60...

What Operating System are you using on your desktop?
Is the Windows firewall preventing you from accessing this named instance?
Check Windows & SQL logs for errors.

One last thing... If I wanted to Order by 'Created Date' how would this be achieved? I presume the datatype will need to be changed?
