The app reads in one line, inserts it in to the table, reads the next line etc.  Its just the splitting out of each chunk of data from each line. ...

its loaded in from a web app, the user selects the file they want to upload, it then puts each line from that file in to the table.

Again, about 4 weeks to the UK, well worth the wait, excellent book.

Also, if you don't want to stretch to Visual Studio.NET just yet, you can download WebMatirx from www.asp.net its only 1.3mb in size and actually comes with its own...
