Percent Complete

  • Topic

Is there a way to determine the status of a Job?  I know I can find if it is running or not, but is there a way to know what percentage is complete?  It can be within Enterprise Manager or a 3rd party product. Thanks, Dave

RE: Public role

You could BCP into a staging table as varchar, do some substringing to remove the (-) sign and import into the final table. If DTS is an option, you could use ActiveX scripting to remove the (-) sign before loading into your table.

This reminds me of the emacs vs. vi debates we used to always get in on the Unix side. I use Textpad heavily because it does what I need.
