Are the posted questions getting worse?

    I've got a problem that has me stumped. I downloaded an iso image with a long name to a usb key.

    en_office_sharepoint_server_2007_standard_and_enterprise_edition_with_service_pack_1_x86_x64_dvd_x14-40187.iso

    My x64 bit machine has no problem with this, But to burn this to a bootable DVD, I put it on an x86 machine.

    I'm unable to rename of delete the file - it appears the OS has it locked.

    Even logging off, mapping from an x64 bit machine, it's still locked.

    All I can think of is making a bootable USB key with a 64bit OS on it.

    Any ideas? I don't think I'll forget to shorten the name up again so diesn't matter where I copy it.

    Need to get a replacement first. Local hardware store only has IDEs in stock. Best they can do is monday for a SATA, maybe tuesday.

    Just as long as a second drive doesn't fail.

    20 views per post doesn't sound that high to me. Don't we have 20 regular viewers in this thread?

    True, except that we see anywhere form 20 to 50 posts per view.

    I don't think there are just 20 regular viewers. Every page holds 10 posts. I just read the last 5 pages, so there are 5 hits but 50 reads. 106,000 views denotes 20 to 200 viewers per post.

    Depends on how you have it configured. I have 50 posts per page.

    Jack, that was a pretty simple solution you gave him. I guess he did not even look at the solution you provided. Or did not understand... 😀

    Or maybe he wants to do it by updating the alias and joining the tableA with csv file? 😛

    Spell check, spell check, spell check! Spell checker is your friend!

    Unless, of course, you're spell checking code, in which you get a whole bunch of false positives on spell check errors. But then, there are also the errors that spell check will never catch; differences between their, there and they're. Spell checkers gotta get a lot more smarter before they can do that! (And yes, the bad grammar in that last sentence was intended.)
