Fantasy Football 2018

  • Ho Ho Ho and into the playoffs we go. A nice matchup against Steve and hopefully time for revenge after his week 10 lesson 144.42 - 114.32, it should be a good matchup. Fingers crossed he peaked early.
And what about Prestige? Wins 64.62 - 63.82 and pinches the last playoff spot. What are the odds on them going all the way?

  • Figures.  In a matchup that I desperately needed to win, my team didn't even show up, and I'm stuck with the week's biggest blowout.  On top of that, the teams behind me win close games, and I'm knocked out of the playoffs.

It's been a nice run.  How many straight years did I make the playoffs?

Seriously! I needed just 9 more yards for the win. I look forward to making a better run next year if I draft better and keep some Wide Receivers healthy.

  • Ah the ups and downs of fantasy football, she's a fickle lover...some days are better than others.

I'm also looking forward to revenge, losing to PW in the regular season in a shootout.  Really going to depend on which one of WRs decides to show up and if I play him.

Don't forget, the consolation bracket winner gets their entry fee back.

I expect to have better results than in the regular season. I finished with two good games that ended up being lost.
I really need to get that entry fee back to buy holiday gifts.😀

  • I just realized, my Defense was my highest scoring position for the week. That was brutal.

  • That was an ugly matchup for sure! Just glad that my team made it through 😀

  • Make sure to get your lineups updated, there's a game tonight (Thursday, Dec 6) at 5:20PM PST.

    Early matchups:

SSC Steelers vs Prestige Worldwide - This seems like a lopsided matchup but PW is streaking at the right time, and has regular season ownage on the Steelers.  A big game from Brees could tip the scales for PW; the Steelers will ride the Gurley train.

British Bulldogs vs Way0utWest Cowboys - Projections are nearly identical.  The Bulldogs are relying on huge output from their RBs, the Cowboys project double digits from all their WRs.  This could come down to kickers and DEF.

  • Quite the game last night for Henry. Watching him push people around was fun. Otherwise, not much of a contest.

  • My team picked the wrong week to sh*t the bed.  Pittsburgh laid an egg in Oakland, too.  Bad weekend for the Hess Express.

Says he who was responsible for blowing me out of the water and spoiling my playoff hopes in the last regular season matchup!
