I visited the British Virgin Islands in the early 80s and loved it. We stayed on a little island off of Tortola called Marina Cay. It was definitely the best vacation of my life. I still remember the pools in the rocks at Virgin Gorda. I'd love to go back sometime.

Well, it is nice for vacation, i know that
but when you live here, it seems after some time
quite boring...
Islands are always good for vacations but not gud for living...

I've been to the US Virgin Islands (St. Croix, St. Thomas) and loved it. Laid back, good food, good people, beautiful beaches and reefs. If I was rich, it would definitely be on my list of retirement spots.....

wikipedia tells its around 24k but i guess
there is 40k(including the expats)
There is only one major road here and it gets too crowded everyday,
I also think there are more automobiles here than number of people..

Wow, all this talk about BVI (and other destinations) has me thinking vacation.
Already have travel plans for this year (I'll be in Colorado in less than a month), but I'm already toying with vacation ideas for next year. California, DC/MD/northern VA, and a cruise are all on the radar for next summer.

One of my friends was here for last week.
We enjoyed a lot in the BVI annual festival, sailing, beaches...
He is now going back to US..He is too from austin, texas...
